When will it end!

My poor family has been struck with a nasty bug, and it keeps coming around! Ever since I got sick TWO WEEKS AGO, I've still had pretty common headaches and a cough I can't kick. Shaun has gotten a sore throat on and off again. Now, this morning Payten woke up with a gosh darn fever again and a cruddy cough. I hope, soon, that this 'bug' gets the heck out of our house!! 'Cuz it is NOT welcome!

Looooong Week

*This week's agenda include three days of internships, two tutoring sessions, and homework from my online courses. Talk about too much schoolwork!! I'm ready for the weekend to begin for a little relaxation. Sadly, I don't see that happening, I have a dodgeball tournament I'm volunteering at tomorrow and homework due on Sunday. Blah! I can't wait for this week to be over, hopefully, I'll get into a school routine, soon! That would be sooo helpful, maybe all this stress would lessen some.

*On a great note: Shaun got my Elliptical put together, I'm hoping this will be a little bit of a stress reliever once I find time for it!! I got a little bit of time on it yesterday, but since it was so beautiful, I went on a walk with Payten too! I don't want this weather to go away! :(

*I was hoping this blog would be a stress reliever, and I could update about fun things, like Payten and fun events. Unfortunately, I've been slacking on that! My blog has mostly been about school, boring! And that's only when I get on here to update, I know I've been slow at it  :) I'll try harder to make my posts a little more entertaining for you all!! Talk to you later!

Slacker

Hello all. This week has been long and uneventful! I know there are still two days left, but I don't see them being much more exciting! Unfortunately, my daughter caught the 'bug' that has been going around and was sweet enough to share it with the whole family! On a semi-good note, we did have a snow day, so we did get one day to truly relax to try and recuperate. Since school has begun, I've started to slack on my blogging! I am still trying to get back into the swing of things, so forgive me  :) There is just too much going on this semester that I was not prepared for, so it is taking a little time to get used to this crazy schedule. I am hoping within the next two weeks I'll get back into the flow of a regular schedule. These snow days and sick days are really contributing to the messed up schedule, so hopefully, they pass as well!

Time flies....

 It is already February, where did January go? Quite a few of my Facebook friends are always hoping that the weekend comes quicker than it actually does, while me, on the other hand, hopes the week slows down! I have so much homework between all my courses this semester, that I feel as though there is not enough time in one day to get it all done! So far, I've managed to stay on top of the game. Go me!!

 

With all this cruddy weather lately, we've had TWO, yes TWO, snow days around our house. It's not often my boyfriend gets out of work 'cuz of the weather, so it was nice to spend time with him. I know Payten loved it, she is quite the Daddy's little girl anymore (And yes, this makes Mommy a tid bit jealous, ha!). Although, yesterday we did absolutely nothing, today I got quite a bit done having Shaun around the house to entertain Payten while I did housework and homework. We also got in grocery shopping, oh yipee. (This was better than it seems because I got more materials for my tutoring sessions that will be happening soon. I am actually really excited to do this! I think it will be great seeing what type of impact my one-on-one tutoring can have on a student. I know this experience will only fuel the fire to my desire of becoming an educator!)

Also, this week I got some exciting things ordered for Payten's birthday party! I found a neat cake pan and Belle cake topper, since Belle is her favorite princess! Hopefully, my mom and I can pull off the cake and make it look great! Plus, I got neat Princess party favors for Pay's cupcakes, as well as more Princess DVD's to add to Payten's movie collection. I can't wait for her party! She also really helped me make her guest list, it was adorable listening to her list off all her friends she wanted to come!

On a final note, this weekend is my 23rd birthday! Saturday, oh yeah! Ha! Big plans? Negative, I'll probably spend it with my two favorite people, but that's the only way I want to do it! Also, my niece is getting baptized, and it's Super Bowl Sunday, always a good time! So this weekend will be busy, but I'm ready for it! A little bit of an escape from homework, which is always a plus! :o)
